Problem Note 49530: The SAS® Package Reader cannot read packages when the reader is configured to use Java 7

When you configure the SAS Package Reader to use Java 7, the reader cannot read packages. If you try to read a package, the SAS Package Reader fails to initialize, and you receve the following message:
Initialization error encountered
As a workaround, you can reconfigure the SAS Package Reader to use an earlier version of Java.
